LDS Photon +
PHOTON+ Dynamic Signal Analyzer- A Small, Fast and USB Powered All-in-One Solution
PHOTON+ is a next generation, ultra-portable, real-time analyzer designed for making fast and accurate vibration measurements with post-processing capabilities. It offers the convenience and power of the industry-standard USB 2.0 interface, and comes with two to four analog input channels, plus a waveform source/ tachometer channel.
High-End Data Recorder
The PHOTON+ with Data Recorder software offers traditional tape recording with voice annotation. Its highly accurate amplituding to post-processing also accelerates the time from data acquisition to analysis of results.
Fast Real-Time FFT Analyzer
The software provides a comprehensive set of time and spectrum measurement tools for fast real-time monitoring and analysis even when out in the field.
Post-Process on Your PC
Dactron All-In-One Systems accelerate the time from data acquisition to analysis. Dynamic switching between multiple measurement projects lets you navigate easily between data recording, data post processing and analysis, and real-time analysis. With just one instrument you can use it as an FFT analyzer, vibration analyzer, or signal analyzer, with recorded data interpreted in a wide variety of ways without spending time translating the data file format or changing between different software programmes.
An Ultra Portable Dynamic Signal Analyzer
PHOTON+ makes any PC an instrument-quality, portable dynamic signal analyzer for multi-channel noise and vibration analysis. Powered by the USB 2.0 port, the PHOTON+ Dynamic Signal Analyzer runs off a notebook PC's battery so you can take it with you wherever you go. Designed for real-time signal analysis, the PHOTON+ offers remarkable performance in an FFT analyzer with a measurement dynamic range of 115 dB and a 84 kHz real-time rate. It also features easy to use Windows Vista/XP applications with flexible measurement and signal processing capabilities
Ready to Test in an Instant
Simply plug the supplied USB cable into your PC and the PHOTON+ Dynamic Signal Analyzer, load the Windows application and you are ready to test. Unlike PCMCIA or SCSI devices, there is no tedious configuration process. USB devices auto-configure instantly and its interface frees you from fragile connections. The long, highly flexible USB cable fastens securely uses a reliable friction-fit connector so bringing the PHOTON+ back from the field is easy as all you need to do is 'hot plug' it to a desktop in your office.
A Lightweight Powerhouse
The PHOTON+ Dynamic Signal Analyzer weighs less than 7 ounces (0.2 kg) yet it has many standard features including two inputs with ICP® sensor power (expandable to 4 inputs), an output signal source, and full capability signal analysis and waveform source software.
As your test demands grow, you can even add a tachometer, or install new applications, extending the usefulness and power of your analyzer. All that’s needed is a software activation code.
Take Data Anywhere
The compact, light and rugged design of the PHOTON+ is a vibration analyzer that is ideal for testing in-vehicle, in-flight, or anywhere that you need to make measurements. Since the USB connection supplies power, you will not have to carry a power supply for the PHOTON+. Also, you can place the PHOTON+ Dynamic Signal Analyzer up to 16.4 feet (5 meters) from the PC for a more convenient test setup. Using USB hubs as repeaters extends placement of the PHOTON+ from the PC to up to 98.4 feet (30 meters). USB hubs provide the added flexibility to connect multiple analyzers to a single PC.
